About Appliance Care

Ross Lazarus, holding 30 years' experience in the field of electronic engineering, founded the company in Benoni in 1991. The business has grown from a two-man operation carrying out repairs to household electronic goods to one that currently has a staff complement of eleven, most of whom have been with the company for between 15 and 25 years. Our expertise includes the repair of all major household appliances, the installation and repair of DSTV and Home Theatre Systems.

The majority of Appliance Care's business comprises of insurance assessments related to power surges and lightening damage.

We assess and repair for many of the major insurance companies such as OUTsurance, Hollard, Auto & General, Budget Insurance, First for Women, Mutual & Federal, Santam, C.I.B. and Alexander Forbes Insurance.

We have received numerous awards for Service Excellence, not only at a provincial level but nationally too.
